Custom work means much more than precision measurements and craftsmanship. Derek considers context, examines the frames, and listens to the interests of the customer. He's comfortable sharing his experienced feedback with and asks if she has any colors in mind. Color is always a key element in design and the bright new pillows provided the perfect palette for a mediterranean stripe. Derek folds opens several appropriate swatch colors from his Sunbrella fabric samples and carries it to one of the comfortably placed chair pillows. "Oh, it's a perfect match," she say's, smiling.
